DIY Fall Pine Cone Wreath | Cozy Autumn Craft from Nature
One of my favorite things about fall is bringing the beauty of nature into my home. 🍂✨ This season, I created a DIY pine cone wreath that’s rustic, budget-friendly, and perfect for autumn decorating.
Instead of buying expensive decor, I gathered pine cones from nature while camping and turned them into a beautiful handmade wreath. It’s a simple project that adds warmth and charm to any space—whether you hang it on your front door, above the fireplace, or use it as a centerpiece.
What You’ll Need:

Pine cones (collected from nature or purchased)

Wreath form: we will make one from cardboard (grapevine, wire, or foam)

Hot glue gun or floral wire

Ribbon or embellishments (optional)
Spray Paint
How to Make It:

Prepare the pine cones – Bake or clean them to remove any bugs or dirt. Bake at 200 degrees for 2-3 hours. Your house will smell wonderful.
Spray Paint - desired colors.

Attach to wreath form – Use hot glue or wire to secure pine cones around the base. Then I wrapped the base with twine/jute.

Layer for fullness – Add more pine cones, adjusting sizes for texture. I added a scrap of wood for a sign, with "welcome" in vinyl with my Cricut.

Optional-Add details – Tie a ribbon, tuck in leaves, or add faux berries for color.
This project is not only fun but also meaningful—it’s a way to craft with natural elements and create a piece of decor that reflects the beauty of the season. 🍁
