Disney Folio Album | Step-by-Step Tutorial + Free Cutting Guide

✨ DIY Disney Vacation Folio Tutorial + Free Cutting Guide

If you’re like me and love finding ways to save and display your vacation memories, this Disney Folio Project is the perfect craft! It’s a simple, fun, and magical way to create a keepsake that holds your park photos, ticket stubs, and all the little mementos from your Disney trip.

In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to make a folio album using cardstock, patterned paper, and a few basic crafting tools. The finished folio makes a wonderful scrapbook-style flip book — and it’s easy enough for beginners!

🏰 What You’ll Need

To make your own Disney folio, gather these supplies:

  • Cardstock for the base (I used 12x12 heavy-weight paper)

  • Patterned paper (Disney or vacation-themed)

  • Scoreboard

  • Bone folder

  • Paper trimmer

  • Adhesive of your choice (tape runner, glue, or double-sided tape)

  • Embellishments (stickers, ribbon, die cuts — optional but fun!)

✂️ Cutting Guide

You’ll find the full cutting guide linked below, so you can follow along and cut all your pieces to the right size. The guide includes all the panel measurements for the folio base, flaps, and pockets to help you stay organized while crafting.

💡 Crafting Tips

  • Use Disney-themed paper collections or character prints to make each section unique.

  • I purchased a Thomas Kinkade calendar to use the paper/images.

  • Add small envelopes or pockets to tuck in park passes, journaling cards, or hidden photos.

  • Mix matte and glossy paper for a layered, professional look.

🎁 Free Disney SVG Files

I’ve also added free Disney Character SVG files that you can use to embellish your folio or scrapbook pages!
