Crafting baby cards is one of my favorite things to do—there’s just something extra sweet about creating a keepsake that will be treasured for years to come. In this post, I’m sharing how I made a Winnie the Pooh Pop-Up Baby Card using the Anna Griffin Wiper Card Die Set and my Empress die cutting machine. And yes… I even had a moment where I thought I broke my machine! (Spoiler alert: it survived 😅).

🐻 Why Winnie the Pooh?
Winnie the Pooh is such a timeless character, and it makes the perfect centerpiece for a baby card. The gentle colors and whimsical designs pair beautifully with Anna Griffin’s elegant wiper die style.
⚙️ The Empress Machine Moment
While running my layers through the Empress, I hit a snag and thought I had actually broken it! Luckily, it was just a too-thick sandwich of emboss/cut folder and cardstock. (Pro tip: always double-check your plate setup before you crank things through!).
🎉 The Pop-Up Wiper Effect
The magic of this card is in the wiper mechanism. When the card is opened, a little panel pops up—perfect for showcasing Winnie the Pooh and his friends. It adds such a fun interactive element that makes this card extra special.
