Craft Room Makeover: Small Space, Big Ideas! | DIY Craft Box Cabinet Transformation

With a little creativity, a few DIY projects, and smart storage finds from Amazon, I turned a cluttered corner into a clean, functional, and inspiring spot to create. 🎨✨
The Challenge: Making the Most of a Small Space
Working in a small craft room (or multipurpose space) means you have to be smart about storage. My main issue was a lack of organization for my scrapbook paper, tools, and embellishments. I needed a solution that not only worked efficiently but also looked nice—because let’s be honest, crafting is more fun in a pretty space! I worked on a lot of sorting, donating and organizing.
The DIY Craft Box Cabinet Makeover
The centerpiece of this makeover was transforming an existing cabinet into a craft box—a customized command center that keeps everything I need at my fingertips.

✅ DIY 12x12 Paper Storage System: I built a custom insert that fits perfectly inside the cabinet to hold scrapbook paper flat and sorted. No more bent corners or forgotten papers!

After organizing and decorating the space, the entire room feels lighter, more welcoming, and way more functional. Every item now has a home, and I can easily access everything I need for scrapbooking, card making, or Cricut projects.
